Bob Haynes
Bob has over twenty-nine years of experience in the wireless, communications and technology industries. Bob was recently named CEO over all of the “Wireless Group,” comprised primarily of Wireless Communications, Infinity Technology Distribution and Consulting Services, and Seamless Mobility Solutions, after having successfully served as CEO of Infinity from its inception. Bob also leads the boards of directors of the Wireless Group. Prior to assuming a CEO role, Bob served as Vice-President of Marketing & Business Development for Wireless Communications. During those four years, Bob was primarily responsible for the growth of Wireless Communications’ business in both the traditional and non-traditional communications marketplaces.
While at Wireless Communications, Bob also has served as a senior consultant under contract to Kennedy Covington Consulting, LLC, assisting that firm with state and local government and institutional sales.
Prior to joining Wireless Communications, Bob’s final position at Motorola was as Area Manager for Motorola’s Government Division. While in this position, Bob led the legislative effort to secure State appropriation for the vast North Carolina statewide interoperable radio project.
Bob’s career with Motorola began in 1985, in its Service Organization. He was promoted to the Field Technical Team, then to Field Engineering and later to the System Specialist Team. From there, Bob advanced into Special Market Sales in 1991, and advanced within the Special Market Sales division over the next twelve years. Initially, he had primary responsibility for handling the Norfolk Southern Railroad sales and customer relationship. He was then promoted to the Utility Sales Team in 1994, and then was named Sales Manager for the Northeast Utility Team in 1998. In 2000, he was named Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Utility Team, the position he held until being named Area Manager for the Government Division. Each of these positions presented new challenges and new opportunities to broaden Bob’s knowledge and skill set.
Bob has received numerous awards during his career, including being named North America Professional Sales Person of the year for both 1999 and 2001 by Motorola. Bob received the Vendor of the Year Award from Norfolk Southern Railroad in 1994. He held the account responsibility when Motorola received a Quality Award from Duke Energy Corporation in 1999.
Bob came to Motorola after serving in the United States Coast Guard. He was stationed in Cocoa Beach, Fl, New York, NY and San Diego, Ca. During his tour of duty he attended the ETA School of Electronics in New York and also received awards for his technical knowledge and outstanding leadership while in the service.

Bob is happily married to his wife Lynn and has two sons Brandon and Cameron.
Bob’s hobbies include golf (badly), boating, woodworking/carpentry, and reading.
