Temple Transducer Headset
The temple transducer represents a significant achievement in headset
design and functionality. It allows the user to receive audio without
covering the ear. The receiver portion of this accessory rests on the
temples and is capable of converting the receive audio from a two-way
radio into sound vibration. The sound vibration is transmitted through
the surrounding human tissue and bone directly into the inner ear
where it is received by the user. It features an in-line PTT and noise
canceling boom microphone. The temple transducer enhances
communication and safety by not impairing the user’s hearing of the
external sound environment, such as machinery and equipment, warning,

utilizes bone conduction technology, so users can receive audio
without covering the ear. The receiver portion of this accessory rests

surrounding human tissue and bone directly into the inner ear where it
is received by the user.
The Headset includes an adjustable, over- the- head band that fits
securely on top of the head decreasing the likelihood that the headset
could be knocked off during unexpected or sudden movements. The
headset also enables the user to wear a helmet, hat or other head gear
comfortably over the headset . The rugged in- line push- to- talk
(PTT) button includes a removable ring guard to prevent accidental
activation of the PTT button when used in mission- critical situations
